The fact that a large portion of the population expresses gratitude at once. Very powerful. Shame it doesn't happen more...
meeting all the family and have fun together
and of course the food lol
I love the whole ambiance of the day...family, food, football, parades, wonderful smells wafting from the kitchen, the anticipation of the meal, the candlelight dinner...but most important it's the love, togetherness and the thankfullness expressed from one's heart.
