What is the most economical, least expensive gift you have purchased for someone? This can be a gift you found on sale and had a coupon for and your so proud for saving so much money.
I think home-made edible treats - made with indulgent ingredients - are not only economical, but highly appreciated by the recipients. It's much more personal and guaranteed never to leave the recipient with the conundrum of wondering what to do with a 'trinket' and so much more pleasurable than another pair of socks!
