I think I was in middle school...maybe 12 or 13 years old. What do you think the cutoff age should be and how old were you?

I'm not sure if I ever stopped trick or treating!

I think I was ten years old.

Because I was big for my age, I must've arrived at a point where I got embarrassed about going around the neighborhood dressed in a costume and holding out a paper sack whenever someone's front door opened.

Additionally, it became more fun for me to be the one handing out candy to the little kids at the door. Plus, if any of my classmates or neighborhood pals came around, I could poke fun at them. LOL!

('Hawks defense couldn't stop Detroit...I'm bummed!)

I think I was 13. It was all about my friends. If they had continued, I probably would have also.

I grew up on a small farm in the country.  If any of the kids in the rural area went trick-or-treating they went into the small town nearby to do it.  My parents viewed trick-or-treating as door-to-door begging, as did some other people around the area, so neither I nor my older siblings ever did it.
