When is an appropriate time to decorate your home for the Christmas/Holiday season?
I would think most people start decorating their home for Christmas any time after Thanksgiving day.
When you feel like doing it................................................................
I think about the 10th December is a good time to start decorating for Christmas. If you are planning on a real tree, certainly in Ireland, they start becoming available into December. As we don't have Thanksgiving, many homes decorate into December, not before.
Our family decorates the weekend after Thanksgiving. We spend the weekend together setting up the house for the Christmas holiday. It gets us into the spirit of Christmas seeing the house all fancied up.

My family and I absolutely adore Christmas, so we always start putting up our Christmas decor on the first week of November. Everytime I tell someone when we decorate they think we are CRAZY! I'm sure there is someone else who does it too!

Anyone who was getting paid last December remember if there was a delay in payment because of the holidays?

What is the most annoying thing about the Christmas/Holiday season? What do you find to be the most painful about the holiday season? Is it the same dozen songs repeated over and over and over? the rampant selfishness and consumerism? The inability to park at the store on weekends? What part...

It's November so Holiday tunes will undoubtedly start being heard in stores everywhere...but how soon is too soon to start hearing Jingle Bells and whatnot? When are you ready for the stuff??
