    What is the wierdest & whackiest celebrated day you have heard of?

    Today being National peanut butter day 24th jan, we seem to be a world full of crazy celebration days, whats your favorite and wierdest you have heard of.

    My husband and I celebrated out 10,000th night of marriage a few years ago.  We'd missed so many anniversaries with him being a soldier, he just counted up our nights together and came up with a new way for us to celebrate.  I'm looking forward to our 20,000th night!

    As a fan of Douglas Adams and the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I enjoy Adams birthday, May 25th as Towel Day, when we all carry towels to prove that we know where our towels are.
    This month, I will be celebrating the birth of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns, on 25th January, but my all time favorite 'odd;' day is national talk like a pirate day, which I believe is September 19th and has now been celebrated for 10 years.  I can't think of anything weirder, or  more fun,

      Talk like a pirate day!!!!!!!!  ay ay mi harty.  I would love to see that. Do they dress up as pirates as well?

      Hitch hikers guide? that was my favorite tv show in the UK as a kid, Babel fish is not as stupid as it seems
