Right, now, we are in Bangkok just resting before work starts in Cambodia.i think it depends on what you need and want at particular moments. But, so far, my favourite would be Maldives. There is complete relaxation and am transported to the underwater world that is just heaven.

Christmas because it brings our family, friends and acquaintances  together for a truly precious time of giving and joy. It rings to me so wonderfully because of the memories/associations from when I was a little brat of 4 right through to my "grand fadder" days.
I have come to eventually realize that it doesn't matter to me if it is a white or even a significantly wet or color coordinated green Christmas. Most all of us gather for Mass either at Midnight or not depending on the relative age of dependents and for that time we seem to be content and focused upward, outward and the peacefulness seems the most tangible of all our qualities. If I may add this affect seems to carry through to the New Year perhaps even all the way to our Epithany.

Easter! Even though most of the population is secular in my country these days, many families still stick to celebrating it with traditional dishes and entertainments. It's a very colorful, jubilant holiday, perfectly suited for the springtime mood, and it makes me feel more in touch with pre-revolutionary culture. What's not to like?
