    Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year?

    What is your biggest concern? What are you most excited about? Are you a first time or a multiple year host?

    I live in Japan and the locals don't celebrate Thanksgiving. So there's no Thanksgiving for me. I guess I can host my own feast with lots of Western Thanksgiving foods but... meh. Sometimes a bar does a Thanksgiving thing. I never go to those, they seem really sad.

    I enjoyed Thanksgiving growing up but I don't miss it today. Maybe that's the price of being an expat.

      SgtCecil - that's cool you are living in Japan! I hear you about Thanksgiving not really being a big thing or being missed when abroad. I lived in Spain for a year and didn't really miss it while I was there. This year I'm excited for it though.

    I live in Middle East, I heard a lot about Thanksgiving day, but never had a chance to celebrate it. I am a foodie and also love to celebrate festivals with family and friends. So on this Thanksgiving day, i may not be listed under the celebrating peoples' list, I will definitely connect with my friends, especially in US, and inquire about their celebrations.
