When black cats prowl and pumpkins shine,
when shivery shivers run down your spine,
when ghosts and goblins ring the chime,
beware and be scared – it’s Halloween time!
Let’s share something exciting ( something funny, memes, riddles, wishes, creepy images, etc.)
I wish everyone a killer Halloween!
I love that poem Misbah, and the Halloween gif is fun.
Here is an excerpt from my poem The House on the Hill:
An abandoned old house sits atop of the hill
Beside the hay barn and in front of the mill.
Some say it is haunted with spirits and ghosts,
But my friend Bill and I are braver than most.
We went trick or treating though I felt like a fool,
Bill dressed as a zombie and me as a ghoul.
Then laden with candy, and a vampire named Steve
We climbed up that hill on All Hallows' Eve.
It towered dark and eerie, the house looked so haunting,
"Come in if you dare!," it seemed to be taunting.
Looking brave in our costumes but inside quite scared,
We approached the huge door but just stood there and stared.
Black storm clouds had gathered over this hill alone,
Each crack of thunder seemed to make the house moan.
The vampire looked worried, the zombie quite grave.
It was left to the ghoul to be outwardly brave.
……. The full poem can be found “In the Spotlight” on my profile.
Aww… This is so sweet of you, John. I am going to read the full poem now.
The Poem I shared was actually a wish from someone else, but it sounded like poetic, so I break it down into a poetry form.
I just finished reading all of your amazing and creative Halloween poems that were in the spotlight. I enjoyed all of them:
1) The House on the Hill
2) Salem's Lot, a Poem for Halloween
3) What Will I Wear This Halloween?
4) Shadowheart” (a Halloween Poem)
It was so interesting to know that HubPages had a Halloween contest, which I think was a terrific activity; they appear to be extremely busy now.
Sending lots of Blessings to you!
Aww Misbah, I didn’t expect you to read them all, but thank you

Please read Misbah's beautiful poem "Bury Them in the Depths of the Earth".This poem talks about life in general from a viewpoint of a person who is a bit frustrated and tired with life and has tried to portray her emotions in the shape of a beautiful poem. Thanks for this intense imagery...
