Halloween Trivets

Trivets add to any party and decorations. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Remembering some of those fun Halloween parties where we came in costume and shared some fun with friends. Candy, punch, desserts and hot dishes were always a great treat to these parties.

Your buffet tables will look fantastic with these tile decorations. A trivet supports a dish, pan or pot above the table surface to prevent scratches and heat damage. Not only are these practical but festive for the holiday as well.

Great Looking Anywhere in Your House

Black cats, haunted houses and bats all represent Halloween. Keep in mind that there is nothing to be scared about with cats and bats. Though it is not fun when a bat happen to be in a friend's basement and as scared as you are. When our friend run up the stairs and closed the door on us, it really said a lot about our friendship. Getting towards the stairs with the closed door, this bat had a brief touch down on my head.

Fun Gift Idea

After seeing many faces on food photos, I got inspired with the fresh vegetables from our garden. This face was originally created on a bread board as shown in these products along with the pumpkin which also happen to be from our garden.

A black cloudy sky gives off any eerie feeling that there may be more in the garden then pumpkins. Be very careful! Did you spot a shadow? Thought I heard footsteps!

Great Look for all of Fall Season

Gardening season of 2010, we had a very large garden. Having planted pumpkins before at our home without much luck, this garden was at my sister-in-law's farm as it is this year too, though, not as big.

We planted two pumpkins, which turned out to be 24 full-grown large (except for a couple) pumpkins. At the end of the season and even before, it took over the garden.

Once again, I was playing with my food. Took a picture of one of the many cauliflower plants from our garden and gave it a face. Because the cauliflower face is digital, less work went into making it than the pumpkin veggie face. Everything with the pumpkin face is fresh from our garden. In addition, I had to visualize what vegetables to make the face. How the face would look on the board and then the pumpkin. I admit that I am a visual person.
