Come Sit By Me A While : Easter Eggs And More.............................
I wanted to squeeze in another visit before Easter as Dai has tomorrow(Sunday) and Monday off work, and we are going out and about exploring some more of this beautiful Welsh countryside and of course for me to click away with my camera!!!
I am also away after lunchtime today hence the need for another early visit.
It is so nice of you all to visit me again and today's hub is about what Easter really means to me.
Four Easters ago my beautiful Erin so tragically passed over at the young age of 17 years old and I found solace in my writing and in Mother Nature's beauty which surrounds us all !!!
Today Easter to me is a time for fondly remembering and also a time for being thankful for all we hold so dear; for all the beauty which surround us and for each and every precious loved one which fill our hearts with love and joy;whether they be family or friends.
My song choices for today are Celtic Woman singing 'The Journey' 'A Prayer' and as Easter is always a time when little ones enjoy their Easter Eggs and the magic time of Easter Egg Hunts etc. I had to include one of little Connie Talbot and her beautiful voice.
Help yourselves to tea or coffee and there are a few Hot Cross Buns left over from yesterday.
Are we settled??
OK I shall begin !!!
With you all I share
A heartful of love;
Memories so tender
On the wings of a dove.
My sweet sweet angel
We linger and share;
Through memories we talk
And through poetry we care.
You are in my sunrise
And each sunset too;
Also in each new day
My tomorrows so true.
We walk through meadows
From mountains to valleys;
Our bond eternal
So precious our stories.
Your memory honoured
Your heart etched in gold;
Mine full of treasures
Warm memories to hold.
In your garden you grow
Each blossom a treasure;
I sit by your side
Absorbing such pleasure.
My Beautiful Rock Rose
You are like no other;
So prestigious the honour
Of being your mother.
We walk along trails
Of the tranquil riverside;
Always that sweet scent
In my heart;by my side.
I share my deep love
My heartache , my tears;
A deep peace I hold
No trepidation;no fears;
The laughter in my soul
Is the sunshine up above;
Sparkling dewdrops become
The tears of true love.
I do so truly believe
In the promise of Easter;
Allow your heart to fill
With each tender wonder.
The sweet Easter message
So sweet in your heart;
Will now thrive forever
Never to be apart..
I will love you forever my beautiful angel
Oh yes so wondrous
That path to new born treasures
Believe and commence.
Easter Dearly Precious.
A time of sweet rebirth
Wondrous bells of celebrations
Each cascading moment of new belief
A new sunrise so brightly lit
Precious golden sunsets
A time to love
A time to thank
Such golden memories
Trinkets of love,faith and hope.
Eager is each heart to learn
Remember each tender memory in the basking love of Easter's promise.
The beautiful voice of little Connie Talbot.
The Laughter Of Babes.
The laughter of babes
That hunt for Eggs.
With such excitement
So fast those legs.
A prize so golden
Memories so wondrous;
As each little one eats
Those Eggs so delicious.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter x
I hope you will take something positive from today's hub and I wish to bless you all with A Happy Easter.
Lots of love and hugs to you all my precious friends from my little corner of Wales.
