Did you know...

Night owls are more likely to experience nightmares as compared to the early-birds?

Let's take a quick poll~

What would you like to dream if you become a lucid dreamer?

See results

Far away from the daily rat race, I look for a place,

Off grid where I can pray and meditate,

And possibly transcend into another world,

The ultimate Off Grid back to the land,

Where my soul can run naked for the race that is set.

Away from the hustle and bustle of human race,

Off grid I go where lovely creatures are free,

On a vast open space I fly away, no one cares,

Ascending, descending round the pillars of hope,

This is it my friend, I am finally here.

Away from my earthly flesh Off grid I reign,

In this metaphysical world I am a deity,

A royal Goddess of time and fate itself,

Off grid I go as Stella of Thutmose,

Where cosmic rays shadows are great.

The longing I feel is peacefully obtained,

Off grid where my soul is completely serene,

Heaven is for real and my spirit is free,

I’m a clever fighter in one hundred battles,

Mysteriously defeating the demon of darkness.

Off grid, I go where I gather more strength,

For torrential water splashing on my face,

From the deepest valley I dig for courage in subtlety,

Whispering no secrecy with my divine creator,

Triumphantly, this art of war I must conquer.

Haven it is off grid where no one is imperil in space,

How else could I describe this no baffling place,

Come peep and have a glimpse off grid,

Experience bliss and eternal peace, I am here my friend,

No uncertainties where my heavenly Father awaits.

But then I woke up from this sea of dreams,

I realized then that Off grid was just a dream,

My neighbor's strumming in the middle of the night,

How do I go back to bed, no use to whine I said,

I stood up and hummed, no one cares.

I was dreaming and upon awakening,

Found myself on HubPages, hubbing in the Universe.

Loved this, it really made you want to 'float away'...whether that is what you actually do when you lucid dream I suppose is really down to what you believe, I think sometimes dreams can really get to the heart of what is going on within your emotional world, and the more conscious your dreams are the more you can best work them out...thanks for sharing:-))

CMCastro: Pleased to meet you and thank you for coming by. It was actually one of those chaotic dreams that was kind of hard to interpret and in which I have to pen creatively. I'm glad I was able to let it flow naturally and happy that great readers like you appreciates it. Again, thank you.

Thank you Laurinzo. I think I was a bird in my previous life because that's what I want to do all the time...fly. (: Always looking for some adventures in life (travel) only to settle to a much peaceful place (and then write).

It is as if the poem suggests that one enter another dimension. Very good, you must have been there and come back. I have been interpreting dreams in my sleep for a long period of time. I always know how to solve my problems, by just asking to see it in a dream, or waken from the dream knowing the solution. This works. Thanks for the poem that intrigues my attention!

Hello Vincent! Thank you for reading and for voting Up, awesome and beautiful. I'm glad you enjoyed this hub. I couldn't agree more on you when you say, "being out of the world of reality is sublime though only for a short time we enjoy it's caress". Thus, I've learned to live in the present moment and be joyful. I know, the future will unfold as it is meant to be. Happy hubbing!

Off grid indeed a feeling of bliss in our Lucid World. Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful enchanting piece. I love dreaming lucid but my nightmares get in the way and thus my darkness reappears. Yet being out of the world of reality is sublime though only for a short time we enjoy it's caress. Voted Up awesome and beautiful..

This was cool, I always have had the ability to fly in my dreams, and to fully control them as you felt here, mainly because I'm a non-conformist as well, and hate conformity.

Life is tough when you feel things like technology is forced upon us all, but in actuality it isn't its just another trend, that people choose to have in their daily lives, and the funny thing is no one tends to question why, as you've stated here.

No one cares, LOL. I do though, and this is why I'm here to set free my dreams, I'm also hubbing here in the universe to hopefully one day unlock the right digital doorways to paradise and become truly free.

      Awesome poem, voted up!
