Mountain Dew - a song of love
On a hot day, you quench my thirst
Carbonated bubbles hit my tongue first
And the ice cold drops make me burst
Into tears, like I’m cursed
Oh Mountain Dew….Mountain Dew
I love you. Mountain Dew
I love you
Grey skies turn blue
Mountain Dew
Mountain Dew
If it’s a cold day outside
Or if someone goes and chaps my hide
And the children just won’t abide
Even if the earth and moon collide
Drink Mountain Dew….Mountain Dew
I love you. Mountain Dew
I love you
Grey skies turn blue
Mountain Dew
Mountain Dew
It’s only 7 o’clock at night
This fatigue, I can’t fight
But much to my delight
This fridge, it is alright!
Oh Mountain Dew….Mountain Dew
I love you. Mountain Dew
I love you
Too good to be true
Mountain Dew
Mountain Dew
Sometimes I can’t think straight
Until my blood sugar is raised
And caffeine wipes the headache away
In the end it’s pretty simple, though
I just can’t avoid the taste
Of Mountain Dew…yes Mountain Dew
Oh Mountain Dew….Mountain Dew
I love you. Mountain Dew
I love you
Grey skies turn blue
Mountain Dew
Mountain Dew
