Poem - A Red Rose's Scent
A Red Rose's Scent
A red rose's scent...
A gift that heaven had sent...
As to my castle i went
To enter, with my head bent
There came a red rose's scent
A gift that heaven had sent
I went in search of it
To beg at least a bit
Of that scent, if it would permit
Because it was divine, i must admit
If there were more than one
For the scent, that i had felt
Then i would love to keep one
Forever near me, in my pocket
I'm sure i was not the first
Came i, will come the next
The red roses shall not rest
And so on and so on and so on...
From a place, that the maker sent
which was far from the city noises
It was not a red rose's scent
It was the scent of many red roses.
