   I'm all over the place with seasons! Just depends on the moment and mood. I'm sure you can tell by the way I write, never in any particular season very long, and sometimes combining them. lol

   Interesting question... for me it could be any season really depending on my mood - at the moment I am definitely Autumn/winter - I write less, I'm moody, depressive and not looking forward to the festivities that are Christmas; dreading the season itself until Spring when I can relax, write effectively and express myself with cheerfulness.
   
   This time of year always brings a feeling of dread - a fear of something bad happening.  The gloom that is the current season is not my best time although it is a good time to write my autobiographical novel filled with all the memories and anger of the past.

   I would say that I lean toward Spring because I write about travel, but I also write about crime and death which isn't so cheery, maybe a bit Winter there.
   I write about safety which has quite a bit of negative connotation to some, though I don't see it that way. I think of it more as Summerish.
   I guess I would just say Fall so as not to leave anything out.
   
   Leni; You are not alone there are more suicides and self inflicted wounds around the holidays than any other time of the year.
   Down here the hooting & shooting kicked off last night and it will go on, ever so annoyingly, until early January. There will be endless fireworks, and a bit of gunfire, horns honking at all hours and loud parties till dawn. And that is on weeknights,,, lol.

   Winter. I don't have many warm and bright areas of ideas but when I do they are wonderful and savored. However, it is full of dark and sadening moments of no thoughts of writing.

   What an interesting question!
   
   Without question, the seasonal metaphors for my writing are (1) the transition from Winter to Spring: I enjoy writing with a dark/lyrical or moody edge, but infused with some level of hope and/or expectation of healing or learning, and (2) the transition from Summer to Fall: I enjoy writing with a level of humor and occasional cynicism, but with a poignant underbelly or resolution.

   I would say Winter because I like to write with a dramatic, gray tone...which is just like winter here in Montana.  Writing drama and high emotion is much easier for me than using a light tone or writing humor.

   Well, "writing style". Tricky. Easy to say I write about summer, many of my articles are about holidays in France, but then I also write about Christmas and winter. Easy to say I write less in the summer, because I run a B&B and holiday cottage. "Style" is more difficult. I would say Spring, because everything emerges and blossoms at once, trees, flowers and weeds. I have so many ideas that I want to find out and write about everything. They all come tumbling out, but how many of them reach the autumn of fruition? Not very many at all.

    I think Fall best describes my writing style because I usually begin on a lighter note and slowly progress into something darker.

    I love summer, it represents abundance of sunlight. I see summer as the time for creative abundance, the time to venture outdoors and interact with nature. I like to move a lot with my writing and therefore identify with summer.

    I'd have to say Spring into Summer because I tend to stay on the lighter side with my writing style. Even when talking about something a little more heavy I like to infuse some sort of humor into it so that my reader can take a breather.

    I would say winter because my writing style tends to serious but informational. I would perhaps say some of my articles are summer like because they light and easy to follow. Although, spring is about preparing and many of my articles deal with preparing yourself. I really like this question and makes you think about comparisons.
