   Where is the best place to write your life story and possibly sell it as an eBook?
   
   I have come to the belief that sharing my shattered life story on HubPages is probably not the right venue. I do believe I have a story that is supposed to pay-off, sort of speak, and I would like to publish it without prejudice. Where is the best place to write and sell such a story?

   Amazon is probably one of the best places to sell an eBook, although I think that another good place is Barnes & Noble.

   There is a place called lulu.com that used to publish an e-book format for free and you get 100% of the royalties on that one.  They make their money by being a vanity press similar to createspace.com, (the vanity press of Amazon.com). 
   
   You won't have the exposure from lulu.com that you will get from Amazon, but amazon takes a cut of the selling price.  My suggestion is to go with lulu.com and promote the book yourself.  You will still have to promote your book yourself either way.

   If you choose Lulu.com they'll also put your book on Amazon at no fee and also create an ebook for you. About promoting your book . . . there are many ways from free to expensive. Word of mouth, using postcards (vista cards.com), book presentations, Facebook, having someone review your book, creating a blog etc. From my experience promotion has been the hardest part but inevitable.
