Yellow is my favourite colour and so too a variety of Yellow pastel shades. Therefore in my psyche lighter/neutral tones more so if yellow based create and enhance a lighter mood!

Either a forest green or a burnt old wood color. Something with a vintage feel to throw myself into the literary mindset.

My living room (the room I write in) is a neutral tan color with a slight rose hue, nearly a blank canvas; The pictures hanging on the wall are pictures that inspire me.

Not sure if you mean the colour of the room or the colour of the pen I would write with - but in both cases purple comes to mind.  If it's the room a soft lavender with white and cream trim - if it's the pen a bold deep purple.

Wow! I really need to think about this one, and try out some colors. I work with colors a lot, but haven't connected it to my writing. As I look around my office, a sky done in subtle, but deep sunset red over turquoise trees is very enrighing, and so is a photo of blue sky over trees. So I guess the colors of sunset over trees!

Blue is my favourite colour. Red I associate with dynamism and drive; green with newness, growth, new life and so on.

I was very influenced by Keats and the image writers and more recently my spiritual teacher, Sri Chinmoy. So I use flowers and birds and trees and other aspects of life to draw on imagery and colour this way.

I trust that this is one way of answering your question.

Purple and lilac. These colours make me feel relaxed and at peace with the world which then makes me feel creative.

Something like a pale pastel shade, neutral. That would be ideal. What I've got around me right now is white stipple. As it happens when I write my notes the background tends to be Macdonalds, Tesco Cafe or wherever I sit down with a pad. I've been working on some notes for a VIKING series article on a warrior poet that's seen a succession of public house, cafe and public house again (the 'Golden Fleece' on Capel Road, Manor Park E12). I shall probably finish it in the Tesco cafe at Barkingside on Friday after I've finished the weekly shop.
I've got the TV on at the moment with Neil Oliver on 'Coast' (Yesterday, channel 12) talking about cornish tin mining. I get used to distractions, what with screaming kids and people shouting etc. Blot them out until I make a pause, watch the programme again and back to writing this comment. I shall start another Hub-page this evening or finish the last ten or so pages of 'OUTCAST' (third in the 'RAVENFEAST' series of books about Ivar Ulfsson)... Watch this space.

At first I thought I would say green...the color of money! But that is not what really inspires me, I write more for passion than money. I would have to say electric blue, for some reason that color really inspires me.

The best color is a royal deep shiny blue..  It stands out and is easy on the eyes and seems more pleasant...

I find that soft subtle colors relax my mood and enhance my writing and thought process, whereas; harsh colors tend to leave me in a frenzy.
