Okay we all like freebies so here one you will like. There is a UK based website which is doing a short course on writing fiction. It is just for eight weeks long at three hours a week so you should be able to slot it into the rest of the things you do.
Though it is UK based it is open to anyone around the world and they are all run by universities so you know it has some value.
The fiction writing course starts on the 27/4/2015, or for those the other side of the pond 4/27/2015. A bit short notice I know but you should get in okay.

For those of you who aspire to work in Hollywood there is a course coming up at the end of June called Explore Filmmaking: from Script to Screen.
This is run jointly by the National Film and Television School and the British Film Institute, both are highly regarded. I know my partner is interested in this one as she wants to become a screenwriter.
There is a course on community journalism, Community Journalism: Digital and Social Media, which is running at the moment but if you are interested you can register your interest. As this is type of reporting is becoming more and more popular it is worth a look. For those interested it could even be a career move.

I'm curious to know if anyone has ever taken an online writing course. I'm looking at signing up for one but I don't want to pay like over $200 if it is not going to be worth it. I'm looking for any suggestions on sites that offer good online writing classes that are worth the money.

Specifically, any advice for future novelists with issues spelling. I would love to become a writer, but don't know where to begin or how to get my ideas on to paper.
