I loved reading Thomas the Tank Engine to my boys. It provided many good life lessons.
All of the Chronicles of Narnia were great. I also really loved James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.
My first and most favorite Children books (Series) was the "Chronicles of Narnia" by C.S. Lewis. I read that series at least 3 times. My mom sold my books at a rummage sale, without me knowing it and I cried!! I also loved the book, " Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs" by Judi and Ron Barrett. Read this to my children, over and over and over. Was really disappointed that the movie did not follow the book.
My favorite children's book is the Trouble with Jenny's Ear. It is out of print book published in the early 1960's.
