It is hard to pick just one favorite... but it would have to be The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Such a favorite book of mine is "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.  I have many favorite books including "Elementary Algebra" by Hall & Knight, "Teach YourSelf Algebra", "Teach Yourself Geometry" etc.

An oldie written during WWII, Suds in Your Eye, by Mary Lasswell.  It is a work of fiction.  She wrote it while her husband was overseas and it is the adventure of 3 quirky lady senior citizens.  Great fun.

I don't think I could pick a stand-alone favorite but my favorite series are the Harry Potter series and the Chronicles of Narnia.
