So i'd say yeah it can be.
My mom seems to agree with DStettler's wife. So my answer is yes.
I agree with the answers above. It may not seem very pretty when it's written but it's not wrong.
I would also add that some foods need not be cooked to be done.
For example, if you are making sushi and you have completed the task, the sushi could be referred to as done.
If you are washing fruit and vegetables, when they are clean they could be called done.
If the jello in the refrigerator is jelly and wobbly, it is done.
