my wife thinks so. She always says, "Check and see if the (insert baked good here)'s done."
So i'd say yeah it can be.
My mom seems to agree with DStettler's wife. So my answer is yes.
I agree with the answers above. It may not seem very pretty when it's written but it's not wrong.
I would also add that some foods need not be cooked to be done.
For example, if you are making sushi and you have completed the task, the sushi could be referred to as done.
If you are washing fruit and vegetables, when they are clean they could be called done.
If the jello in the refrigerator is jelly and wobbly, it is done.

Why do most people eat more cooked food than raw food? Most people gravitate to cooked food (over raw food) without thinking about it. What is the reason for this among people - both in a general sense and specific to you.

Is sushi an acquired taste?I have been into sushi for some time now, but those around me find it weird and only many times of eating it did they finally admit to liking it. I just remember how I like it the first time eating it.

How long does cooked bacon last in the refrigerator?I'm planning on frying up some bacon to use in a salad in about four days and I'm wondering if the bacon will last that long in the refrigerator.
