    Know anything good about Tate Publishing from Oklahoma.

    Poetry book was accpted for publication and they want $4000 to "do it right" Maybe that's fair. I don't know.

    I have heard of them. Tate Publishing is known as subsidary type publishers. Subsidary publishers are not my thing. If you have the funds to do it I guess then all the power to ya. Thing with these type of publishers is the $4000 for just the printing of the book? What about editing sometimes they offer editing and marketing in packages that you have to pay extra for out side the amount they said it would take to make your book. I have not heard anything bad about them aside from they are subsidary which may be a warning in it self. Hope that helps. Thank you for asking!
