    With so many places to write online it's not easy picking a favourite place to write so a Top 3 will do... Where do you write, What do you write and Why do you write online?

    I like Posterous.  I don't know where the readers come from, but they drop by my work.  I certainly appreciate it and them! It has a neat e-mail feature where you can post from e-mail.  I've not used it yet though. Thanks.

    Wordpress. Nice interface that is easy to use. It is free. I have a question, are there any other sites that are similar to Hubpages?

    I write my own blog on Wordpress and I like that because I have complete freedom to write and post anything I want. I like that I can see my statistics clearly for how many people visited my site, where they were referred from, what they clicked or searched for, etc.

    I also write for thesociocapitalist.com--I like that because people write about current topics--politics, technology, sustainability, etc. It's really interesting and starts some good conversation!

    EzineArticles, my own blog and guest posts on other blogs.

    EzineArticles is still the number one place for quality articles and a lot of traffic...

    My own blog, well I think you know the answer to that one...

    Guest posts on other peoples blogs (especially high PR sites) is a great place to gain those all important quality backlinks...

    I love to write on my own blog. It depends who you want to read it as this is generally only read by my close friends. I use Blogger.com and have another one using Word Press on my own website.
    As katescottuk said, linking to your site from other sites will bring in traffic if they like what you write in the comments section of other websites.
