I was just reminded to answer your question a short while ago and found that it is quite hard to ascertain one single/simple category for a name to be given to poetry of thanks - as you would be aware there are latin/english and other denominational hymns and prayers of thanks, there are poems that relate to the thanksgiving holidays in the US and in Canada, there are thank you notes with penned verses but all I can come up with really is
"gramercy- an expression of gratitude" which could take a poetic form" i.e.poetically formal gramercy. hope this helps ....cheers anne
