If you think you can do this sort of thing, pick a greetings card company and have a good look at the greetings they use Make up a portfolio of similar greetings you have written and send them. Find out first if they will take unsolicited submissions and to whom you should send them.
Start your own on a web site. It's always more fun to create a company than to work for one.
Access the address of some Card Companies you know of and send them some examples of your work, enquiring at the same time if they have any opportunities to be a writer for them.
