Is there a book(s) that has changed your way of thinking so much as define who you are/have become?

Some people find that a book, or series of books, that profoundly resonate with them and changes their life. It could be any kind of book(s), from children's novels to self help books.
Have you ever read a book that had such a powerful resonance with you?

YES! Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's a major "Don't let this happen to you..." warning for me, and it opened my eyes completely. I learned a major life lesson from her story (the book is based on things that really happened to her), and I see the world in a completely different light after reading it. It is by far the most influential book I have ever read.

Maybe I'm too late, I just recently read and watched 'The Secret.' It changed my thinking and the way I look at things. I have always been too critical of myself, too tense and always with too much pressure. Now, I'm beginning to really look at things in a different perspective. Appreciating a good life, opening my self to good things that will come to me.

The books of Dr Wayne Dyer (esp. Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life, and Inspiration) have changed my attitude for the better. I really think everyone should read them.

The series of books that has undeniably changed my outlook on the world and molded both my political and 'religious' beliefs is the Ender Series by Orson Scott Card. Both of the branching series have had a tremendous impact on my life and have given me all new ideas about humanity and the great potential we all have as a race. I could go on forever about how those series have effected my life, but I'll save that for a later hub.
