Mine certainly do. Sadness, anger, joy, fear, all of these things directly affect the beginning of the story. Where it progresses from there, however, seems to be entirely up to the characters themselves.
It sure does. When I am in a silly mood I tend to write silly poetry. When my mood is more serious I tend to pick subjects that will interest people or I will write about things that I have had life experiences with. If I am in a very good and happy mood I attempt to write things that will make people laugh. (Not sure if that really works for me though)
I can say so with certainty, I feel as though if an individual is saddened, depressed, or heartbroken, there is a great deal of emotion pulsating, many times one could create a masterpiece in this state. It also goes along with the opposite, happiness or anger, both of these can cause mutual energies that one can wield. I personally write my best when a certain emotion is strongest.
I definitely think that our mood influences what we write. With each emotion, an article can be produced depending on that mood. If I am sad, I will write poetry or a hub on relationships etc. When I am happy, I write about everything and anything that interests me.

Does the weather influence your mood?I always find that when it's sunny, I'm a much happier person and what not, and when it rains I'd rather spend the day in bed. I was wondering if any of you had similar experiences?
