Have you ever read Stranger In A Strange Land by Robert Heinlein?
The (CAW) Church of All Worlds, was introduced to science fiction fans in 1961 in Stranger In A Strange Land. I had always assumed that it was purely fictional, and agree with you that believers in Pantheism need no labels.
Hello somethgblue. No I haven't read the book. It's one of those books I keep meaning putting on my list. I did know that it inspired the founders of the CAW.
I read the book years ago and don't recall the religious undertones. I just remember it being an excellent story about human society and behavior from an outside perspective.
