How can I delete my poem so I can rewrite it, And can I keep my same title.
They said I would have to change it but it is almost in the middle of the page and the only thing that I know to do is write it over, I have a copy of it so that is no problem. The problem is I am not very computer wise and it would be easier to delete it ,if possible. My computer messed up last night and did some weird things and now the poem is in the middle of the page instead of on the side.. I am just losing a lot of time this way. Thank you.
I edit my stuff regularly. I think as long as it stays original, you would just edit and re-publish it under the same title.
Click edit on the hub, and under the text capsule where your body of poem is, click edit on that and then just click the delete or red X button.
Hi, just go into your hub and delete the text capsule that has your poem in. Then just add another text capsule and start again. This way you can keep your title, okay?
It sounds like you just clicked the arrow to float it right. Click the green arrow to the left and see if that helps. Really it will be quicker in the long run to fix what you already have. You might find more help in the Learning Center and HubPage FAQ.
Clara. It may depend on the reason given for needing to change it. Was it due to having been published before elsewhere? That is a possible trigger for needing to change a hub. If the reason is unclear, you can ask Hubpages about it. That way, you'll know more exactly what you need to change about it. If, as someone else suggested you just 'unpublish it', you won't have to delete the whole hub. You can fix whatever is the problem with the poem, and then publish it again. Your title won't be affected. However, when you unpublish a hub, there may be a time limit to republish it. You need to pay careful attention to any instructions given with it. It may be that it is only deleting a hub that carries a time limit.
You are in a great situation to become more computer wise! It's by doing things that one does learn more. But I must warn you, if you are concerned with how much time it takes in the learning stages, - well -- good luck. I've been using computers for 23 years and online for 14 of them - and I'm still learning every time I sit down -- and sometimes, when I'm stumped - I may have to sit here quite awhile to muddle through and figure it out. But it accummulates and each step takes you further and 'keeps' in your information and expertise bank.
Glad you're here in HP - and, trust me, it will be worth the effort and time! Hugs - Nellieanna
simply click "edit" next to your hub at your account.
you aways can keep same title and edit your poem as many times as you want
