I've always loved Romeo and Juliet since I read the Wishbone version as a child. I guess even back then I was a hopeless romantic. I loved the idea of two people loving each other so much that they would do anything to be with each other, even fake their own death. It backfired and Romeo wound up killing himself because he couldn't live without her. When she woke up and saw him dead she killed herself as well.
I loved all the characters! They all had their own personality and could be loved and hated for different reasons. My favorite, Mercutio (sp?) was the friend who always tried to have his friends back with kiddish humor and sometimes just didn't know when to stop. I could go on and on about how I love this book and got A+s in high school on the projects, even helping out my friends.
