What is the book hunger games about and what age is ok for a child to read/watch it?
It's about a distopian future where each year 2 teenagers(12 to 18 years old) from each of the 12 sectors that form what's left of the U.S. after some catastrophe(i can't remember what's the catastrophe) are sent into a sort of reservation where they have to kill each other. The movie is not excessive in violence, but it's kinda dumb and the actors suck. The book is a little better, but no genius work or anything. If your kid is 12-13, let them read/watch it.
