As writers and poets we could vaguely say we are inspired by everything, but I'd like to hear more specific answers =]. Thoughts anyone?
Outdoors, people watching...
Anything, I'm always creating with my mind.
I would definitely say everything.
nature, its sounds and how it makes me feel
injustice and biased opinions
the effects of war on humanity
love (always) losing it, having it, elusiveness
music and how it affects us and how we need it in our lives
just a few I do write a lot of poetry, it's soothing and a creative outlet for those feelings inside.
falling on my face and getting back up
Birth. Death. Life. The depths of despair the heights of Euphoria and the spaces inbetween. Heartache and Love.
Boys I fancy and boys that break my heart Hehe. Sometimes just sitting outside. Mainly it's being in touch with my feelings, and thoughts, and the struggle to find positivity and resolution. I'm a songwriter, so usually it's the opening line and then the rest follows I wrote a little about it in my debut Hub x
Whenever my mind stops racing for a few minutes, whatever's in my experience at that time, usually inspires me.
The written word mainly in Poems, reading great pieces of writing that can inspire you !
And that's why I write, (not poems though).
My inspirations have been infatuations, the love I shared with my dear fiance (true love),the loss I experienced when he tragically passed away, the sadness and depression I have experienced, love and romance in general and the fantasies I keep within....all my life's experiences and one's I have yet to experience all inspire me in my writings... LIFE inspires me!

Thank you..it is just passed midnight and I am sick with a terrible flu bug. Had to take my mom to the Dr today because she is sick too. Dr says she got the H1N1 bug and bronchitis as a secondary infection, so I have to go to the Dr tomorrow to see if I have a sinus infection on top of this flu. I am feeling pretty lousy and cannot sleep. Glad to see you on here!
Take care and I hope you feel better soon, my sister had a 'bug' that she is just getting over after 5 weeks, so I hope yours doesn't last as long and I'm sorry for your loss. You are an inspiration to us all.
Am in work JJ as it's 815am here in cloudy Belfast but just read your comment and had to pop back on to give you a huge hug. I was sent home early yesterday and went straight to bed and slept right through. Hope you feel better soon and I hope yer Mum does as well. Anyways I gotta get back to work, take another hug and a lil kiss on the forehead, get a good nights sleep ok.

Hey luv! How are you? I am so very sick still...have to take the boys and myself to the Dr. today. Mom has a bad case of H1N1 and caught bronchitis too! (she only had the bug 48 hours)...I have been sick 7 days and not getting better...I am a bit scared but want to get medicine to get better, if there is any.
I miss ya you briny thing you!
Not sure. I will check them out, I been kind of awol recently. Sorry about the health issues.
I think we say everything because we really just don't know! At least I don't. Inspiration usually comes from somewhere or someone unexpected, a thought during a conversation that triggers a memory or a connection to an experience that is suddenly current. It's completely unpredictable but I find it helps to have these little conversations, so to sum up it's people, other people that inspire me.
oh you are poetic....the smile of a child inspires me (always does), even if I am in some bad mood at times, a smile will always makes me smile and be inspired...
other peoples work, can be very inspirational. Wanting to get something important out of my system sure sets the creative juices flowing..... Poetry always inspires me, always
My children inspire me.
Good poetry, nature, and strong emotions (love, hate, anger, etc)
If I don't have any topics I'm thinking about, I grab my Bible and start reading. I can usually find inspiration from the great book.
God bless everyone,
What Inspires me to write my books?
I write them because my audience of coaches, business people, and solo professionals need the book writing skills and asked me for them. You need to know your audience's needs before you write a chapter.

Welcome back, Cabin Girl.
Everything, sometimes, and sometimes nothing. The trees outside my window, just turning color now, into a blaze of red and gold and orange.
My bath, my beautiful bath with its scented oil and the candle glow, a glass of red, red wine for color, and Mozart, softly...
New shoes, Oh, am I a sucker for new shoes, but BEST OF ALL!!!

Ah. Feels so good to plop down in front of your computer (or a notepad and pencil if you're into the tried, timeless and traditional) and write out a story, right? But what about those days when you're hammered with a heavy bout of writer's block? Where do you go or what do you do to fill yourself...

Does rainy weather inspire you to write more?Rainy weather seems to spark my desire to write. I think of lots to write about and get much more done than when it's sunny. Creativity and the sun seem to be in competition, at times. Does weather play a role in your creativity?

If you made changes in your diet, excerize, or gave up unhealthy habits...why did you? Was it to be healthier in general for the long run, or were you more motivated by wanting to feel better now? What did you change? Hope I worded that right, Thanks
