How can I add accents on French words in my hubs?
There's a number of words of French origin that we use in English, such as cafe, matinee, nee, resume, etc. I would like to use them sometimes in my hubs but don't know how I can add the acute or grave accents.
For acute accents:
Use the Alt Gr key along with the required letter.
é is Alt Gr + the letter e
É is shift key + Alt Gr + e
For Grave accents, you need the character `, which is on the key to the left of the number 1
`e is ` followed by e
Do a Google search on the word, scroll down a bit, find a version that has the accent mark and copy past it. I am constantly doing this for the term Déjà vu. This works for any type of symbol that you may want to add, like a copyright mark (©) or a degree symbol (º).
Here are the links for codes for Spanish and French words:

Instead of 50 words for every product, a Hub will be required to have 100 words...

What is the optimum number of words for a hub- 400, 500 or 1000 words?I try to not to write over 500 words as it has been said that people tend to scan articles/hubs or lose interest after 500 words.I also find that breaking up my hubs with bold sub-headings and placing photos or monetized capsules...

HubPages hubs do not recognise the fact that there are a lot of words and names in common use which stem from other languages and, as such, have accented letters.Instead of reverting the accented letter to the same letter without the accent, the HubPages 'way' seems to be to remove the offending...

Do you add content to your worst-performing Hub or your best to make it even better? Do you add content to the low-scoring Hubs before the high scorers? What else do you think when you decide when or if to add content to a Hub?
