If you go in to edit a published hub, does that count as a view?
I'm pretty sure it does. There have been times where I edited a very old hub that rarely got views and, the next day, it says that article is hot. Unless it was some amazing traffic coincidence, it was probably just me giving it traffic. But, as far as I know, traffic from you while you are logged in, won't reflect negatively on your scores and revenues. If you log out and then start clicking on your advertisements, then bad things will happen.
Yeah it does, it also counts once you publish it initially too. I've tested it quite a bit with hubs not published so only I can see them, it registers each time.
If you got the the stats button of your hub and click on it, then click on day it will tell you how many hits you hub has had that day or week or month. And if it is you that has visited the hubpage the stats will tell you that too.
