I cannot get my hubpage published; they keep saying it is substandard. There are no typos.
I have compared mine to some other hubs and I cannot understand why it is considered substandard. I need specifics.
Make sure that you have at least two tag words so that people can find the hub (two is minimum). Also, make sure that it is long enough. You should have to scroll down a little ways--at least that's what I have experienced. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that might be useful unless you gave a bit more info.
What is generally considered substandard is explained in the site FAQ. For most people, a Hub that is being automatically flagged by the system as substandard indicates it does not contain enough written content.
I'm having the same issue with one of my Hubs. Mine has no typos, no caps, 1500+ words, photos, etc. and it has been rejected as well. I just tried to read a Hub about "How to Get Your Hub Published" and I actually think it was written in broken English. So I'm not very sure of the process here. Good luck to you!

Is there a way to exclude hubbers who do not have idled hubs from the 24 hour review for new articles? This may be the wrong place to enter this request, and maybe it is an impossibility. It would be nice if staff could facilitate the process of newly written material.

Is a short hub considered substandard? Can a hub be flagged as substandard for being too short? I have recently published short hubs, and I fear that they may soon be considered substandard. Sometimes hubs are simply short, but having relayed useful information.

Lately as I hubhop, I am finding lots of photo only hubs. Are these considered low quality? It would seem that hubs need to have text of some kind besides a title. I started out flagging them as low quality, but I don't want to put moderators to extra work if these are considered acceptable. What do...
