I am not sure if my hubs are captivating, maybe not in the same sense you're asking about. I write mostly informational articles about health and attempt to make it interesting and easily understood by my intended audience. For me, captivating an audience is answering their questions, using good writing mechanics so they don't stray, and providing responsible and accurate facts and details. I provide the best information so people can make their best choices. Maybe that's captivating, at least in my writing.
