Is there a word for the loss of the ability to see beauty?
The word that came to mind was "Philistine" but that's more like "uncultured" or "unable to appreciate culture". I also thought "blind" and a Margaret Cho quote:
“Just because you are blind and unable to see my beauty doesn't mean it does not exist.”
