How can I quote form a HubPage with acknowledgement if I don't have a name ?
Each hub has an author. Underneath the hub title it will say "by xxx published xxx", but if you feel that it needs better recognition, copy the URL from the hubpage and state maybe in parentheses (Author name not given) or something so it shows that you are acknoweldging another hub. For example:
http://oliveralexandre.hubpages.com/que … name-#open (author name unknown or not given)
Hi, Oliver! Welcome to HubPages. I'm looking forward to reading your Hubs. I believe if I understand your question, there are at least two options when you don't know the name of the author:
l) after clicking on an article you like, you can copy and paste the URL address for it at the end of your article with the acknowledgement, or
2) use the name of the writer from his/her profile page, along with the hub article address.
Hope this helps!
Thank you very much! The trouble is that the BBC may not be impressed with 'Mythreekids' as the author's name... On the other hand, the whole idea in the play is that my student nurse character HAS read the article and IS quoting it at her interview - figured out by Matron! So perhaps the HubPage reference is as suitable as any....? I just wanted to credit the author if I win... or if pigs fly! Kindest regards from an Englishman with a sister in Houston and cousins in NY and LA !

If I have an article on HubPages.com is there a way to submit it to the HubPages editors, so they can determine if it qualifies for Discover.Hubpage.com?

So...I'm sort of new to this whole Hubpagesing thing. And I cannot really tell what the vibe of this whole place is. I mean, I can tell quality is being stressed, but all questions seem to be concerned with the money side of things. And yet I read a lot of really passionate, thought-provoking stuff...

Is it possible to allow someone to read my hubpage article before publishing the draft?

I have another account on hubpages that contains an article that was on page three for its keywords. A few days later it jumped to the top of page two. The next day, gone. I can find it by typing in the exact title, but nowhere to be seen for the keywords it was doing so well for. I've not edited...

Is it permitted or prohibited to quote briefly from another HubPages article in an appropriate context my own article? This would be done of course with attribution, including the URL. The reason is that I've happened to find a quite relevant and well-phrased quote that would be useful in my own...
