What is the best self-publishing company to go with?
I'm thinking of self-publishing an inspirational photo-book with poems and pictures. What is the best self-publishing company to go with in terms of value and quality.
A friend of mine with with LuLu..It is the cheapest and offers the most options. If you are talented on the computer and can design your cover and typeset the pages in proper form..You just pay as you order books...Extra options are available for a cost (of course). Her book is lovely and she felt it was the best way. I self published many years ago and went with a pay for publishing company..of which I have many regrets.
I use CreateSpace. I like how easy their platform is and if you do need help support is a click away. Here is the link ... https://www.createspace.com/
I just spoke with a woman who published on Amazon and is very happy with it - she is pretty savvy and I trust her judgement - you may want to check it out...good luck!

If there are any professional, published authors here on hubpages (and I'm sure there are tons of you guys) I was wondering if someone could tell me if self-publishing is good or bad, and maybe give a couple of pros and cons. It would be my first book.
