Which nursery rhyme you enjoyed singing for your little one, the most?
I enjoyed nursery rhymes with my kids, as much as they did. How about you?
Please do not say it in the past tense. I have been blessed with children now 23 to 29 and we still sing the songs together. It is a bond never to be broken. Go Tell Aunt Rodi is still the strangest and a favorite.
Thanks Ericdieerker, for your response. Yes, it is not in the past tense. We still enjoy singing rhymes with children, don't we?.......And within few years it will be with our grandchildren.
Yes! Stories and nursery rhymes! We got through lots and lots when the boys were young. From Baa Baa Black Sheep to Hickory Dickery Dock, then Ding Dong Bell to Oranges and Lemons Say The Bells of St Clemens......many more...Pat a Cake Pat a Cake Baker(s)man.....to some nonsense rhymes from Alice in Wonderland! Great material and so rhythmic.
Thanks chef-de-jour, for responding to the question. All of them, which you mentioned above are my and children's favorites...and there are many more. Congratulations for your 100 hubber score.
I don't recall singing nursery rhymes but my oldest daughter's favorite was Doe A Deer from Sound of Music.
My youngest daughter loved me to sing Come to Me My Melancholy Baby. She would throw herself into my lap and say, "Sing Collie Mama."
Great memories....thanks for answering, duffsmom. I remember my kids singing, 'Chubby cheeks, dimpled chin....', pointing to their own features and they looked like angels.....Thanks for your response.
I enjoy singing Mary had a little lamb and twinkle twinkle little star. I think it fun singing nursery rhymes with children.
Both the rhymes, my favorite too....Yes, you are right, it's fun to sing along with children. Thanks for answering flashmakeit.
All around the mulberry bush, the monkey chased the weasel...
The monkey thought it was all in fun...
POP goes the weasel!
All of them, my favorites. I loved it, when children sang together, with nice expressions and hand gestures. Thanks Skyla1036, for answering the question.

What was your favorite book as a child? As a child my favorite books varied, but I recall The Rainbow Fish, Imogene's Antlers, The Giving Tree, Goodnight Moon, and the Nancy Drew mysteries as I grew a little older. What are some of yours and what memories have sprung from reading those books?
