What were your favorite Math topics in school?
Name three math topics, and maybe elaborate further as to why you liked them.
(This can be turned into a hub after answering the first time.)
Did not like math in school, only after I finished and began to see how important it was in my favorite hobby,,,,,,,,,Electronics..............The one thing to help me understand it more and diminish my fear of complicated equations was a VHS tape I got that seem to have college kids as actors. It was an interesting movie that the lead detective had to figure out a lot of math equations in order to crack the case.
I played the thing until it broke.......
I enjoyed Trigonometry just because it was so elegant. When I was first introduced to Calculus my mind was blown. I have always loved math.
I enjoyed the proofs in Trig. They made more sense to me than the ones we had to do in geometry. I also enjoyed anything to do with probability, especially with combinations and permutations. I enjoyed math throughout school, and still would like to go through the entire Calculus system (if that is the right term, Calc I,II, and III) in the same place.
I actually liked Algebra the best. I hated geometry. Pre-calculus was ok.
My favourite maths topic was engineering trig, not navigating trig.
I was never that good at Math, but for some reason, I loved Geometry. It was the only Math class where all I got was straight A's.

What was your favorite book as a child? As a child my favorite books varied, but I recall The Rainbow Fish, Imogene's Antlers, The Giving Tree, Goodnight Moon, and the Nancy Drew mysteries as I grew a little older. What are some of yours and what memories have sprung from reading those books?
