What is a good way to start a writing a short stories books?
I am trying to write a book, starting out small first and hopefully it can become wide-known at least. My English is decent and I still have trouble with tense and commas. However, I am slowly improving bit by bit. Any ideas?
I think it's best to start with one short story at a time! Make sure your grammar is impeccable by getting someone you trust to edit your story. Next, build your short story book with more interesting stories. Make sure your stories are within your niche like either for children or adult love stories, for instance.
I invite to enjoy my many children's stories at Craan on HubPages! http://craan.hubpages.com/
Tense is important. Try and stick to short sentences; short sentences made Hemingway the great writer he was. And, ideas are all around you. All you need to do is find out where to look for them.
One of the main methods of communication within the health service is the written word, whether this is in the form of clinical notes, reports or letters. An increasing emphasis is being placed on improving and maintaining the quality of such communications. This means the written output of clinicians is under more rigorous scrutiny than ever before.
In my creative writing class, my professor taught us to start at the tension and work your way around that. A great story has tons of tension building up to a climax and resolution.
I have had several successful writers tell me to just do it. The only way to write a book is to get busy and give it your best.

I truly love the short story, and often wonder why there aren't more authors in the genre. Is it a lack of interest by the readers, or the writers, or both? Am I wrong, and why? Any thoughts on this subject would be...
