Are blogs about making money online the only people that are making money online?
I want to see some blogs about real everyday things that make some money. It can be through adsense, or selling products, or referring to amazon.... but it seems like the only blogs that are boasting profits are ones that blog about making money through affiliate links selling, what else, but products about making money... hmmmmm.
There seem to be so many people writing these blogs that it is hard to say if they are making money. Everyone is an expert online. Until you try what they write about you can't tell if it works. I just wouldn't buy their book etc.
I suspect that a lot of the blogs about making money don't make that much money. I suggest you check out www.smartpassiveincome.com. Yes, its also a blog about making money, but Pat shares exactly how he does it, which includes a number of niche sites on other topics (like LEED exam prep and security guard training. I think he also has a DIY wedding invitation site). He also tells you exactly how much money he makes from each source. Its a great resource.
Yes, there is an element of pyramid scheme economics going on with a lot of the make money online community.
ie write a blog about how to make money online, insert affiliate links to products which teach you how to make money online by writing a blog about making money online. Rinse and repeat.
However, there are definitely people out there who've made loads of cash by blogging. Check out Shoemoney, who has a great picture of him holding a £100k + Adsense check.
lol, good observation. Truthfully, these blogs are hit and miss in terms of making money.
If you some how manage to gain a large following among amateurs and newbies, you can make a killing selling them keyword research products, instant website building systems, and the like.
However, most people with "make money online" sites don't gain a big enough following and don't make enough money to buy a even McDonald's meal. The web is simply too saturated with these sites. I honestly don't know why anyone would start one of these sites or bother writing hubs about it at this point.
I make money online by running a website that reviews certain pet products. The area that I focus on is getting over-saturated, so I don't know how much longer my site will still be profitable.
There is one that's was out recently. Essentially you can blog about whatever you want and when someone comes and reads your blog and clicks on a banner, any sale done will result in you making 100% commissions. You don't even have to do the selling. It's the first of its kind.
Well, I can see why sites about making money online boast that they're making money online.
If a blog is about cats, or cooking, or health or gadgets or gossip and is making money online, why would they mention it?
I'm guessing Perez Hilton, icanhascheezburger and tmz are making money:)
Actually no, blogs are just a platform to use to make money or use at your choice. I've been making money posting ads on to free classified ad websites and for each person who signs up with an offer $20.00 goes into my paypal account that day! I'm not a millionaire yet, but, I'm adding another opportunity to make money to my portfolio and I plan to make a blog about this so people can take advantage of the opportunity and purchase the affiliate product that will do it automatically for them. If you are interested in checking this opportunity out. Check the video out right here. It cost nothing. This one is real.

I have been trying to make money online since 2009 with affiliate programs and blogs and Advertising space and Google AdSense and all that stuff, only made enough for a family holiday to france.
I have made money online buy selling products through blogs on products I make, real products, not info products, ones that have to go in the post. Make a blog that sells products, products you can post or dropship. Dropshipping can make serious money, enough to pay your mortgage off.
I know someone who makes a living as a photographer who then blogged about photography, he now makes more money through his blog promoting high end cameras and getting commission % of each sale and from Google AdSense.
I have gone through hundred and thousand websitses in last five years.but there are only few websites which really pay and are genuine.you may check this it is free to join, but really need dedicated hard work www.sfi1.biz/13670824
I have a method which is working for me currently.
I have a facebook page having 200k fans on it related to wwe.
What i do is i write an article about wwe and Submit it to largearticle.com
Then i drive traffic through fanpage to my article link.i share article link only 3-4 time to my fanpage in 8-10 hours.
Currently i am averaging 4$ a day by doing this. But its very scalable if you have big fanpages.

I call this paradox the Blogging strategist's Paradoxical Dilemma, even wrote a hub about it, couldn't resist:

I'm trying to make money through writing a couple blogs, one is a review and how-to site, and the other is a news, views site. Both are from a Christian perspective. I think if you have something to share that people can't get elsewhere readily, then your blog has a chance of catching the authority wave and begin to make some money. How much who knows.
For me, most people are ignorant of the reality we live in , the illusion we are brainwashed in to by the NWO, so I talk about this. I want to help people understand Jesus is the truth and that there is a conspiracy.
Here is my blog the Lowdown Truth for reference:

I think you can find lots of tips and "how to make online money guides" for free. But if you are lazy; you can buy the basic information in a (good) program.
