How many writing sites do you write on other than HP?

I am just curious as to how many writing sites other hubbers write on.  Thanks for answering the question.

Hi peachpurple, thanks for answering, and I have not heard of those other sites, but good to know.  That is also a great fact to know about HP too!

I wrote on Wordpress, though it's for my own blog. I also used to use Pen.io just to easily get my work online.

Hi floofyfeather, I appreciate you answering the question.  I have heard of Wordpress but not Pen.  Thanks!

Just the one other. The other one I write on because I love my family. Anyone that loves their family writes here.   http://wee.my/Ftx2

Hubpages is time consuming for me and I just don't have the hours to devote to writing more original material than I do now.  In fact, reading and commenting on work by other hubbers in addition to my contributions, leaves me with little extra time in the course of a day.  If I was working, I would even have less time and would not be able to visit hubpages daily, as I do now.

Since most online writing sites require original material (as I see a warning beneath my answer that says "Answers that appear in whole or large part on another site are a violation of the HubPages Rules"), I am amazed when I learn that anyone can participate on more than one writing site on a regular basis.  Multi-tasking is not one of my strong suits, as I remain singularly focused on the task at hand.  With limited time, due to other obligations, I find I am unable to devote quality time to other writing sites.

Hi Amy, I hear you loud and clear.  I work away from my home 10 hours a day during the week, and only write here on HP when time permits! I appreciate the answer.

While you can't copy and paste stuff from one site to another, you can rewrite or write complementary material. From an SEO perspective, consider that there are ten spots on page one of Google. Write on multiple sites, you can get multiple spots.

I used to have Google and Videojug pages but found the latter hard to add things to pages without finishing up with duplicate pages. If you tried putting the whole lot on in one go it would politely 'tell you' it was having problems, could you try saving what you'd already done and come back to it? Duplicate pages were the result. Tiring. On Google I had a fair bit linked with my RAVENFEAST books.
Other than HP I currently have a web site of my own called NORTHWORLD SAGA SITE, a link for which you can find on looking up my profile page on the Hub page of the same name.
Enjoy. I'm looking at options but I've been unwell and had to limit myself to e-mails.

I started recently on Squidoo. and I am wanting to get on Bubblews, but I had trouble getting my profile pic on, so not quite on there yet.

Hi wetnosedogs!  I appreciate the answer.  I have heard of Squidoo, but not Bubblews.  I hope it works out where you can get your profile pic on there.

I don't necessarily think it was Bubblews that I couldn't get my profile pic on. My camera and pictures on computer gave me trouble all weekend before I signed up for it. I will try again in a few days.

Hi I'm also writing on Squidoo, it seems a little harder of a community to break into.
I do my best, and I know it takes time to see anything back. So when i feel depleted  I just stay away for a couple days.  til i get more ideas to write about. I have been told it takes a couple years to see some kind of dollars. I hope to see some rewards eventually for all the work that goes in smile

I used to have my own website where I posted blogs weeklly but as the year went on, I found that I did not have time to commit to both my school work and my blog and so I thought it was unfair to make empty promises to the people that expected to read them. Now, however, I have found a way to balance my time equally between school, Hubpages and wattpad.

Hi Raffia, I understand about keeping that balance in life for sure.  It is difficult, but can be done.  Thanks for sharing and answering the question!
