Awhile back I wrote a hub regarding self-publishing. http://dashingscorpio.hubpages.com/hub/ … ingmindset I personally went with Amazon's CreateSpace they are probably the biggest player in the market these days. They offer a number of services/solutions to choose from. https://www.createspace.com/pub/service … PUBLISHING Best of luck!

    Valorie-
There are so many ways to publish a book these days. I recently finished editing my book and sent it off. I decided to try the traditional way, but there is always the option of self publishing too. I decided on the traditional way because I have always had this dream in my head of how I should publish a book.
There are probably many ways to go about the traditional way but I'll tell you how I started out. First, I wrote out  a short blurb that summarized my story. I registered at agentqueryconnect.com and posted my summary. Fellow writers and agents helped me to edit the query. Then, I researched which specific agents were right for my book and I sent it off, making sure to meet each agent's specific submission requirements. Now, I'm playing the waiting game.
I don't know a lot about self publishing to be honest. I do know that you can self publish with sites like amazon.
I hope this helps a little!

I recently read an outstanding hub on this subject. He was talking about publishing a children's book, but I'm guessing that it would be the same for a different type of book as well.
