I love writing about my hiking adventures because I get to take a lot of great photos and have a great time as well.  I also learn a lot about the area I am visiting because I do some research before and after the hike and then share what I learned in a hub with all the best photos I could take.

Also I have recipes I play around with and if it is one I make up along the way and it turns out really good then I enjoy writing a recipe hub with photos.

That's awesome. I love hearing about what motivates people to write. I can't wait to read some of your articles. My husband and I love hiking and I'm constantly looking for new recipes. Thanks!

I love to write about anything I'm familiar with but my favorite topic is Art, Crafting, Recycling, Revamping, etc.  The reason is I am an Artist and writing about what I already know is not only fun, it's easier because it saves time researching.  smile

I enjoy writing about topics that interest me the most. Such as space science - astronomy and pharmaceutical based topics.  But most importantly, I enjoy writing about topics that I can share with others, on health and medicine. Something that everyone is looking for, to enhance their overall quality of life.

Basically self help topics for the most part.  But then on occasion I go off on a tangent every once in awhile and write about some fictional piece about UFO's, weird dreams and the like.  More for entertaining my readers then anything and not in no way meaning to scare the dickens out of them!

I love writing about addictions such as alcohol and the reason being is that I hope that what I write helps someone to get and stay sober as I did almost 4 years ago.

My general topic: Save Money Every Day!

I have focused on things I am interested in that save money- for example making great coffee at home instead of buying expensive coffee at a coffee shop.  I enjoyed writing an article about how to save money with an outdoor clothesline- I found a small retractable clothesline that really worked out well and wanted to share that idea.  Another fun article: the Jack Reacher Retirement Plan- how much would it cost to live like the fictional character Jack Reacher all the time?

Saving money is my favorite topic since it is easy for me to write about and I feel like I am helping others by sharing ideas and encouragement on spending less money and enjoying life more.

I like to write about a variety of topics, but I suppose the one thing all these topics have in common is that they are all related to life's experiences.  Sometimes I feel as though I'm on a fast train through life, and as I travel through the countryside, I see glimpses of people who entered my life, stayed for a short while, and then went out of my life. I feel too much as though I don't have nearly enough time with most of these people.  I thought they'd be with me forever, but before I realize what's happened, they're gone----I don't like that....I want the good people to stay longer.  But if I write about these people----who enter my life and leave all too soon---that is a way to make them stay forever. Writing about the people I wanted to stay forever somehow makes them last....

I would have to say historical figures from the distant past is my favorite topic to write about -- especially Native American people.  Writing about history and finding the true stories is why I love it so much. There are just far too many assumptions and misconceptions about how Native Americans lived and what kind of people they were. To write about them helps others to learn some truths of people who were real, people who loved and cared for others, people who had good hearts and kind souls.

No favourite topic, I's like to think I can write about lots of things, apart from the scientific stuff which actually depends on how you handle it. Apart from this there is still quite a lot of leeway

Quite a good question, as far as I am concerned, I love writing on different themes, (but I think I have leanings towards partying and celebrations!). Honestly, I love exploring different themes so that my genre as a writer expands, as we all want to.
