    Can we be able to share fanfiction stories on Hubpages?

    I have posted some fanfiction stories of some shows on fanfiction.net. I wanted to know if I could share it on this site.

    I don't know much about the rules here concerning stories at all, but I can't imagine it would be okay to make money off of fanfiction through ads. Considering you don't own the characters, series, whatever, I'm pretty sure it would be illegal to make money off of them.

    As long as you have it posted somewhere else, you'll get notified that the content matches content at another site. Unless someone changed the rules, you aren't allowed to post a hub which says exactly the same thing as a page posted anywhere else on the internet. Also, as aliasis said, you probably aren't allowed to earn money using other people's characters, etc. This is especially true if 1) you don't have the permission of the original creator and/or 2) you haven't paid a licensing fee to use those characters, etc. The reason you're allowed to post fan fiction at the website you mentioned without paying the creator/owner a licensing fee is because the people who own/run the website have paid those fees and they cover any registered users of the site. They only cover the registered users when the users post at that site.
