Where does your writing inspiration come from? Why did you choose hubpages?
What inspires you to write generally and why did you choose to write here on hubpages?
Writing for me is a hobby and life's experiences inspire me...
I started writing hubs here because I love the format and the great people I've been meeting. Like with you, writing (at least hubs) is a hobby and I enjoy writing. Things that inspire me are anything I've learned that I think other people would enjoy reading about and questions people ask.
I agree it is a great format and really easy to use. The people here are also fantastic - I will be checking out your hubs to see what you have learned and shared. Thank you so much for responding.
I write primarily fiction and, as odd as it sounds, my biggest source of inspiration is video games. I'm not sure what it is, but something about playing a story rather than just watching it or reading it, leaves a lasting impression on me. And, it's those stories that I most often think of when brainstorming new ideas.
As for why I chose HubPages, it was kind of an accident. I started at a different pay-for-writing website and had a very bad experience with them. I found HubPages slightly before the fallout with the other and never looked back. There is a greater sense of freedom here and a relaxed nature to everything that I really find therapeutic as a writer.
Interesting answer - I haven't experienced video games - bit too long in the tooth maybe, the only video games I played was back in the days of owning an Amstrad and I played two games - tennis and football then later mario - thank you for responding
I agree with you Leni. Life experiences inspire me too.
I started writing here because I searched around for a while to try to find a place to write. I had a blog that had no interpersonal connections like HP does.
I found an article written by someone I respect and they gave tips about different writing sites. HP was one of them.
Thanks CraftytotheCore, I discovered HP by searching for a writing site, I tried a blog at blogger but it wasn't really for me, I, too, found articles by writers I respect here on HP...epigramman and nellieanna to name but two...
I get my inspiration from many people, places I visit and experiences I have. It could be inspired from books, television, music or other writers/authors.
The fact that life is filled with daily inspiration if one can see through the glass clearly. And to be in awe because you are one of many inspirations which has so much to offer. I write to share a story and to inspire others to share the personal experiences. "Words are powerful, the written word is profound"
I agree - I love writing about my experiences as well. Thanks for the reply Jo_Goldsmith11

I don't know that it makes any difference to be honest,...
