Can you tell a story in ten words?
Can you start a tall tale with a tiny amount of words?
I will go first............
He heard soft whispering. She had found him. He hid.
How about........"Her lovely voise was so soft, then she passed away."
Hope that is what you mean. It's hard enough with my F/F stories in 5/700 words, never mind 10 words.
That sounded like an interesting story could transpire from your words...
Thank you for answering.
or how about........"The beautiful baby was born, but the young mother died"
A bit morbid.
Merry Christmas in advance
" Once upon a fleeting rhyme, hatched, matched, dispatched in time... "
This is a good idea Anna

“Weni, Widi, Wici,” said Caesar; and returned Homewards - (That’s Romewards).

Thank you robjlodge. You explained the journey and had two words to spare.
There was oxygen. There was water. Life. Beauty ever after.
Great idea, by the way.
I must admit that I haven't made up this story, but I just hope you'll like it.
A teacher told his students to make up a story, where the main character is an aristocrat, God is mentioned and there is a mystery.
A minute later one of the students handed in his story. It was:
'Oh, my God,' said the duchess. 'I'm pregnant, but I don't know by whom.'
As the requirement is 10 words,
'(My) God', said the duchess. 'I'm pregnant but by whom?'
Funny and definately worthy of a big smile Thank you.
God said, “With that, Your Grace, you’ve fallen from grace.”
Mystery, man, love, wife, kids, joys, conflicts, fear, death, mystery. Anna, I find no story so interesting as this one. Really an interesting question.
