With the advent of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, who would win in a fight? Batman or Superman?

I mean if the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight were to face off (and they have in the past) who do you think would come out on top and why?

I have to go with the man of steel, Superman.  I mean, Batman doesn't actually have any super powers, right?  Sure, Batman has an awesome belt and some cool gadgets, but Superman is bulletproof!

But if Batman got his hands on some kryptonite, superman has no powers either and vulnerable to bullets.

This was addressed pretty well in "The Dark Knight Returns" storyline written by Frank Miller (which I think they're using as some inspiration for the new movie). Without trying to give away anything from that storyline, it depends on the parameters of their battle. If Batman is allowed to prepare, his intellect and resources will defeat Superman. If it's an impromptu fight, or there is a limit to what each person can use, then Superman would likely win. I think it's really quite poetic that the only hero that can defeat Superman is the one that's just human.

I'm familiar with Miller's storyline and agree. During the countless squabbles among JL members, Batman is the only one to really contend with the MOS. When Superman implants a Kryptonite capsule in himself, Batman is the only member without access.

Batman. He will use his research and use the Superman's weakness to bring him down. He may lose a few rounds before the truth finally dawns upon him.
And in an ideal situation neither will win. A third person will walk in and put sense into their heads and make them do what they do best, Save the world and cities of the world.
