What is the purpose of putting so much effort into compositions with few views and no income?
That is the reason I am strongly considering leaving hubpages for good, even though I enjoyed the platform. I almost feel like I am being "used," for no good reason at all. I am sad. Any consolation?
I started years ago and gave up, didn't work on it at all and then noticed I got paid through PayPal and some of my hubs we're seeing a lot.of traffic so I started writing again, its a slow building process, but I also enjoy writing for fun.Its not The best paying Job in the.world but I can stay home with my kids and still work.
Maybe we should petition for higher pay! They make a lot of money off advertising on our hubs...if worse comes to worse, let's get together and approach Godfather Googe! Maybe there's something illegal about that!
Right,I know it is.frustrating hang in there and have fun.
I learned pretty early on that I was never gonna make a ton of money here so I decided not to make myself nuts about it. I treat my Hubbing as a hobby/distraction ... any money I make from it is gravy.
Anything creative, if effort is put into it, should not be just considered a hobby/distraction...these hubs demand a lot of work and thought ... but I understand what you're saying. I was feeling the same way at first until I realized how much work.

20,000 views in 6 months from 12 featured hubs = $50. Worth the effort?
